How does it work?

Begin your virtual journey with four easy steps…

Contact Annie King Counseling

One.

Contact Annie King Counseling, and we will get you scheduled just like we would if you were coming to the office for a session. Once you are scheduled your counselor will send you an email with all the appropriate forms for you to fill out. You can either sign them and put them in the mail or you can email them back to Annie King Counseling via encrypted email.

Two.

Telehealth is like Skype or FaceTime; with one simple difference, it is on a platform created for the medical community that is safe and protects your personal information. Annie King Counseling uses a program call Doxy.me. It does not require you to download anything. There is no special app.

Three.

At the time of your session Annie King Counseling will send you an email from Doxy.me. You will click on the link and it will take you directly to your personal virtual waiting room. Once the counselor sees your name appear, your designated counselor will invite you to join the session, and you visually see each other. At that point, the session will proceed much like it normally would.
